When Nate and Tammi said they wanted winter engagement photos, we scheduled for the dead of February, because that's a safe bet, right? Oh, Michigan, you can be a real joker. (We all agreed that sunny with mild temperatures was actually pretty great.) The morning I spent with Nate and Tammi was so fun, and I could not be more excited for their wedding in September. (I'd like to thank both Grand Rapids Brewing Company and Founders for letting us shoot in their amazing facilities!)
Happy new year! It's been a slow-paced few weeks--let's be real, I could celebrate the holidays forever--but it's time to get back to business. Sharing this family's session with you is the best way to kick off 2017! (And can we talk about the amazing December weather we enjoyed for this shoot?!)
It's not often that I blog back to back, but I was dying to squeeze this in before Christmas. We weren't expecting that this session was going to take place inside a snow globe, but in the end I think it totally works. We had such a fun morning tromping around in the freshly fallen (ahem, falling?) snow; what a perfect winter wonderland we had for Caroline to explore.
I was delighted when Chelsea got in touch about scheduling a session, and we were so lucky to squeeze it in before the full force of winter landed in West Michigan. (PS: Can we talk about how amazing Oliver's hair is?! I am officially jealous.)
